Once you have completed your business setup (Getting Started With Opus1.io), the next step as a business owner is to invite your clients to log in and set up a password for their accounts.

How do I notify all users how to claim their account before my business goes live?
You can batch-email your users (clients and teachers) by following the instructions below:
Step 1
Navigate to the busiest month in your (business calendar view) to catch/include the majority of your active clients (and their account managers) for batch emailing.
Step 2
Click on the Email all clients/staff button
Step 3
Toggle ON (green) Include client participants and/or Include staff participants.
Note: You may have to email in batches (by clicking on Email Batch 1/Email Batch 2) depending on the number of client/staff participants. You could also copy emails to a clipboard if you want to copy/paste all email addresses to your preferred email client and send a batch email in one go.
Step 4
Use the Announcement Email template provided below.
Important Reminder(s):
- Redo the screenshots in the email template below before sending the email so that it shows your own branding rather than Opus1 Music Studio.
- Highly recommended that you create a short video of the steps below.
- For Step 1 (in the email template), we highly recommend that you add the login link (e.g. https://opus1music.opus1.io/) as a hyperlink or a button on your school's website.
- Replace the URL (yourschoolwebsite.com) with the actual link of the page where the Login link/button is located on your website. e.g. https://musicopus1.com
Note: This is so that your clients would visit your website first in order to get to the Opus1.io login page. Doing this will also help with your website’s SEO. - For Step 2 - Option B - it is only available If your business is under the Mid-Size/Premium Opus1.io plan(s).
Option B is also not available via private/incognito window.
Announcement Email Template
Hi There,
Please follow the steps below to access and set up a password for your Opus1.io account.
Step 1
Go to yourschoolwebsite.com (e.g. https://musicopus1.com) on your browser, and then click on the Opus1.io login button/link.
Option A - Step 2
Enter your email address and click on Get A Login Link by Email, and this will send a login link to your registered email that is valid for 48 hours.
Option B - Step 2
Click on Login with Google if you have previously used a Gmail email address.
Note that it will say “Sign In as xxx” if you’re already logged in to Google.
Step 3
Once you have successfully logged in, click on Change Password and follow the prompts.
Please note that your new password must contain at least 8 characters, including at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter, and a number.
Step 4
For parents/account managers, to add/update your payment information, click Update Payment Methods.
