This article provides instructions on how to book a 15-minute lesson extension for your clients.
To book a 15-minute lesson extension, you will need to create a 15-minute lesson extension/makeup appointment-based service. If your business includes make-up services already, it is recommended to duplicate from an existing make-up service. Note that 15 mins make up extension services are usually booked manually by admins and scheduled at the end of an existing lesson and therefore don't need to be instrument specific.
Once created, you can update your clients' existing service credits and convert them into 15-minute lesson extensions. To learn more about how to adjust your clients' makeup credits, click here.
Once you have created a 15-minute lesson extension service, navigate to your client's profile and click Update on an existing makeup credit.
Change the Service from the current service to your 15-minute lesson extension service. You may want to adjust the Visit Count depending on the duration of the original service credit. Then click the Update button to save your changes.
In the example below, our client has decided to convert her 30-minute Guitar Private (Level 1) - 30 Mins makeup credit into 15-minute lesson extension credits.
From here, you can click Use on your client's 15-minute lesson extension credits to book their lesson extensions and their makeup credit will automatically be selected at booking checkout.
Note: if you want your clients to be able to self-book 15-minute lesson extensions, you will need to make your staff available for that service.
