This article explains how to transfer lessons / subscriptions from account managers to dependents when parents accidentally book themselves instead of their child.
When A Parent Accidentally Books Themselves A Lesson Instead of Their Child
Occasionally clients will accidentally book an appointment or session enrollment for themselves instead of their dependents. Using the Transfer to Dependent tool you can easily transfer appointments, sessions, subscriptions, and their associated invoices from an account manager to a dependent.
To use the Transfer to Dependent tool, navigate to the profile of the account manager who accidentally booked a lesson for themselves instead of their dependent. To the left of their profile photo, click the "..." button and then select Transfer to Dependent.
Here you can transfer the parent/account manager's appointments, sessions, subscriptions, and invoices to an already-existing dependent or newly created dependent profile.
From the dropdown menu, you can select to:
1. Transfer everything (all subscriptions the parent is enrolled in)
2. Transfer a single one-off appointment
3. Transfer a specific subscription
4. Transfer a single session drop-in
Depending on your selection, you'll use the the following dropdown menu to select:
1. a specific subscription
2. a one-off appointment
3. a drop-in session
To transfer to an already-existing dependent, select a dependent from the Transfer to existing dependent drop-down menu, then select Transfer to [dependent's name].
Alternatively, you can create a new dependent profile and then transfer the parent/account manager's appointments, sessions, subscriptions, and invoices to the new dependent profile. Specify the details of the to-be-created dependent and then click Create Dependent & Transfer.
