Migrating your existing business to opus1.io can take some time and involve several steps, some of which can be time-consuming. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible and facilitate your transition.

For that purpose, we offer two options you can choose from:

  • Premium setup (Paid)
  • Do It Yourself setup (Free, as part of our regular support)

The purpose of this article is to detail what is included in opus1.io's paid premium setup and how it differs from a free / DIY setup.  

Premium Setup (Paid)

In a premium setup, our team will essentially set up your opus1.io account end-to-end (business, locations, services/payment plans settings), migrate as much of your current data as possible, enroll all your students for you (private and group classes) and train your team.

 

This includes:

    • A dedicated onboarding specialist
    • Set up of your business settings
    • Set up of your locations, including open hours/days and holiday closures, rooms
    • Set up your services for both private and group students, including all payment plans, cancellation policies, email templates, etc.
    • Assistance in exporting your data from your current CRM / Scheduling / Billing platform
    • Import of your client data (personal info, parent/student relationship, prospect status, etc.)
    • Creation of your teacher/staff profiles (photos, bios, etc.), availabilities, pay rates, etc.
    • Set up of your upcoming sessions/group classes
    • Enrollment of all your students in their current lesson schedules (private lessons and group lessons) with the right teacher/time/service/location room etc.
    • Assistance with credit card migration from your current payment to Stripe or Clover Connect and mapping of credit card to matching opus1.io accounts
    • 1 session (up to 2 hours) of training for the team on day-to-day tasks and common use cases
    • Your setup and migration will be expedited and completed within 5 to 10 days (assuming we receive prompt answers to our questions and initial questionnaire)

Premium setup is $1.50 per active student, with a $699 minimum (USD). Volume discounts can be considered above 1000 active students. Please email sales@opus1.io for a quote, including the number of actively enrolled students, the number of locations included in your business, and your current software provider. Additional services such as data extractions, data clean-up, and training can be quoted as needed.

Premium setup is ideal for businesses that want to save time and setup / migrate to opus1.io effortlessly in a short period of time, and quickly get the most out of their opus1.io setup.

DIY Setup

You do not have to use our premium setup if you want to do the setup and migration yourself. Many of our customers have set up their accounts on their own successfully with the assistance of our customer success team. It does take more time but it is very doable. 

Our standard regular support, which is included with your opus1.io subscription, includes the following:

    • Email / Intercom Chat / Calls with our customer success team to answer questions on how to set things up
    • One-time client data import (CSV provided in the requested format)
    • Assistance with credit card migration from your current payment to Stripe or Clover Connect and mapping of credit card to matching opus1.io accounts

For regular support and setup assistance, we do require a credit card on file and payment for your first month of opus1.io subscription.
