Using Override Appointment Status

In opus1.io, managers and owners have the ability to update the status of an appointment using the "Override Appointment Status" feature.

 

In Opus1.io, managers and owners can update the status of an appointment using Override Appointment Status once a lesson has been canceled to reactivate the lesson, change the cancellation type, or otherwise change a canceled lesson to one of the other statuses listed below.

 

The following statuses may be assigned to appointments.

 

Status Definition
Active the appointment is scheduled to occur, the status of any scheduled appointment not yet canceled/closed
Staff Canceled the appointment was canceled due to staff absence
Late Canceled the appointment was canceled due to a late client request
Canceled the appointment was canceled due to the client's request
Closed the appointment is not happening due to closed hours/days (holidays)
Deleted the appointment is deleted and invisible on the schedule (cannot be undone)
Completed status of any appointment where attendance was taken

 

To override the status of an appointment, click on a canceled lesson from the main schedule or a client/staff's individual schedule, then click Override Appointment Status.

Select a new appointment status, then click Override Appointment Status.

 

Note that credits already issued will not be automatically reverted/overridden, so a manual adjustment of credits may be necessary after overriding an appointment's status.
