# Sharing Files
## Here's an article on how sharing files works on Opus1.io!
With [Opus1.io](https://opus1.io/), your clients and staff can share files with each other.
To share files, navigate to the **manage files** button on either a client or staff profile. Here, you can upload files to your own file library and share them.
**Note:** with whom you can share files is restricted according to your profile's permissions. Clients, for example, can only share files with their instructors.
**Note:** Each file needs to have a maximum file size of 500MB.
As an owner, you can also enable a shared library of files for your staff under your general business settings. When enabled, your staff members will be able to access a library of files available to all your employees. With this setting enabled, you can easily share workbooks, sheet music, forms, etc., with your staff to use for their appointments and group sessions.
