Why do I see "Service not available for room"?
Services in opus1io are assigned to rooms, to ensure that one doesn't book a lesson that is not available in that room (e.g. a Piano lessons requires a room with a piano).
The (Service not available for room) message that appears when trying to book a client for a service means that the service that you selected was not added or available for that room set by the Locations/Rooms Settings.
By design, this ensures that you are booking services (Piano Lessons, Guitar Lessons etc) for rooms that can provide that service. You can still book the appointment or session but you will get a warning that there are conflicts with services and rooms. To keep your process streamlined It's advised that you address the conflict.
To check/fix this, check that the room you have selected has the selected service added to it:
- Under Settings > Locations/Rooms.
- Select the location where your room is and click Update.
- Under the Rooms section, select the room you want to add a service to.
- In the Edit Room window, there will be a "Applicable Services" field where you can add services to that room.
- When done, click the Update button.
At the bottom of the Edit Locations screen, be sure to click the Update Location button to confirm the change.
