Sending Proposals

A proposal in Opus1.io refers to a price quote for a specific service. It contains essential information such as the proposed enrollment details, including date, time, location, service type, and the staff assigned to it.

Sending Proposals

A proposal is a price quote for a particular service.

It includes the details of their proposed enrollment, including date and time, location, type of service, and the staff assigned to that service.

Proposals can be sent for single and recurring appointments & sessions.

A proposal includes the terms and conditions associated with the proposed service. The client must accept these terms and conditions and provide payment information before the booking is confirmed.

Note: Proposals don't technically expire (unless the time slot is taken of course), but the access link includes a temporary access code allowing the client to access the proposal without logging in. This access code expires after 72 hours. You can send multiple proposals to the same client and each of them will work.

Sending a proposal does not automatically block off the proposed time/date with a particular teacher for a particular service, so if your client waits too long before booking, their spot might be taken by another client.

UPDATE(s):

  • Proposals are now permitted to be sent with the option to discount payment plan cost.
  • Opus now supports the use of Proposals for Session-Based services.
