  Overriding the First Month Proration | Opus1.io

What it does: Opus1.io now allows you to override first-month proration when creating a new appointment subscription when booking a new client or when replacing a current client's subscription.

Why it matters: in some cases where there are holidays in a month resulting in fewer lessons than usual (e.g. Christmas holidays), creating a new subscription may result in unwanted/excessive proration being applied to the first month's invoice. This feature allows you to override your payment plans' first-month proration policies and charge the flat rate on a new subscription.

How to use it: to override first-month proration on a new appointment subscription, toggle on Skip first-month proration at checkout for an appointment subscription.

When toggled, the invoice will be automatically adjusted to charge the full flat-rate amount.
