A walkthrough on using service credit expiration reminders with opus1.io
You can enable opus1.io to automatically remind your clients to use their service credits. Credit expiration reminders allows you to decide:
- How many days before expiration clients begin receiving credit expiration reminders
- How often they are reminded after the initial reminder that their credits are about to expire
When a client receives a credit expiration reminder, the email received includes a link to self-book using that credit, along with additional details about the credit.
Note: if you are using SMS with opus1.io, an SMS credit reminder will also be sent.
How To Enable Credit Expiration Reminders
To enable service credit expiration reminders for your service, navigate to that service. Then, under the Notifications / Templates tab, enable one or both of the following settings:
There are two settings that determine when your clients receive email reminders to use their service credits.
- Send reminder for unused/expiring credits before they expire (in days) - when this setting is enabled, clients receive (1) email reminder X days before their credit expires
- Send reminder for unused/expiring credits once every (in days) - when this setting is enabled, clients receive an email reminder once every Y days once a credit has been issued
When both settings are enabled, reminders begin X days before the credit expires and then more reminders are sent every Y days afterwards until the credit expires. In the screenshot above, reminders will begin 15 days before credit expiration and additional reminders will be sent every 5 days after that.
These settings may also be batch-updated for a group of services from the Services page.
