How do I use subscription holds?
A Guide to Managing Subscriptions
Using Subscription Holds
Subscription holds can be used to pause your clients' appointment-based subscriptions, typically during summer or winter break.
WARNING: Subscription holds CANNOT be edited or undone after they have been applied. Confirm with your client before applying a hold to their subscription. If inaccurate hold dates are applied to a subscription, the subscription must be ended and recreated in order to re-apply the subscription hold.
When a subscription is put on hold
1) all appointments scheduled during the hold will be cancelled
2) no service credits will be issued
3) future open invoices for the duration of the hold will be recalculated according to your service's proration settings.
4) any holds longer than 90 days will not show the dates the student returns on the client's main profile, but will be on the calendar or in "See all schedule"
Note: if you pay your teachers for regular client cancellations then lessons cancelled due to holds may appear in payroll as payable.
