# How do I run a one-time charge to my clients?
## Opus1.io provides a convenient feature called the "Charge Client" button, which allows you to assess one-time charges to your clients.
### How to use the Charge Client button to assess simple charges to your clients on opus1.io
Assessing Simple Charges
[Opus1.io](http://Opus1.io) supports charging your clients for single purchases / fees using the **Charge client** button on your clients' profile pages. On [opus1.io](http://Opus1.io) we refer to this process as a **simple charge**.
To run a simple charge on your clients' accounts, navigate to their profile and click the **Charge client** button to the left of their profile photo.
Here, you will fill in the details of the simple charge. You must provide a location, charge description, amount, payer, and payment method to run a simple charge.
Once you have specified the details of the simple charge, click the **Process Charge** button to complete the charge.
A paid and closed invoice for the simple charges will be generated and added to the list of invoices associated with the payer's account.
