This article explains how to remove staff bios from the SMS notifications that are sent for appointment and subscription update notifications.
Staff bios are automatically added to appointment and session update SMS notifications. These are useful for providing a bio in the case of substitute teachers, for example.
To optionally disable the inclusion of staff bios in appointment/session update notifications, navigate to your Business settings. Under the General tab, scroll down to the section labeled Default Notifications and click the edit button (the pencil icon). At the bottom of that page you will find the toggle for including staff bios in SMS appointment updates. If you would not like to include staff bios, you’ll need to make sure that option is toggled off, then click UPDATE BUSINESS to save.
Below is an example of what the SMS will read if a staff bio is included for a lesson update:
