This article provides guidance on managing holiday closures on Opus1.io to prevent lessons from being booked when your studio is closed.
Adding Holiday Closures To Your Locations | Opus1.io
Holiday closures can be added to your business locations on Opus1.io.
Once added, clients will not be able to self-book appointments or sessions on days when your business location is closed. Additionally, recurring appointments falling on days when your business locations are closed will be skipped (i.e. not scheduled) by default.
Note: appointments already booked before closed hours/days are added to your locations will not automatically be canceled.
To add closed hours/days to your locations, navigate to the Locations page and click
Update on the location for which you wish to add closed hours.
Note: only owners can add closed hours/days to a location.
Scroll down to the section labeled Closed Hours / Days.
To add closed hours or days, click the Add Closed Hours / Days button.
When a location is explicitly closed, staff available at that location will be listed as unavailable. Location closed hours/days are primarily enforced on self-booking and are meant to override times when the location is usually open (e.g. holidays).
Staff and managers can always override to book on closed hours/days but will see a warning.
You can add closed hours/days for a Specific Date (e.g. Independence Day)or for Multiple Dates (Christmas holidays). Make sure to specify the correct timezone, which should be the same timezone as the location.
When you are ready to add your closed hours/days, click the Add button.
Then scroll down and click Update Business to save your changes.
If there are any appointments already scheduled during closed hours/days, Opus1.io will generate a warning on the closed hour/day. Click on the warning to automatically close all appointments that fall on closed hours/days.
Click Set All As Closed to confirm and mark all appointments on that closed hour/day as closed.
