How do I assign services to rooms?
This article explain how to assign services to rooms within your Location Settings.
Assigning services to rooms allows staff, managers, and owners to be notified of service conflicts when booking appointments. These conflicts indicate that the service should not be offered in that room. E.g. attempting to book a drum lesson in a room without drum services assigned will generate a conflict warning to indicate the room may not have a drum set.
Note: Only owners have the permissions to update locations and add applicable services.
To assign services to a room:
1. First, navigate to your location settings by clicking on the small gear icon on the left-hand side of your Opus1.io home screen
2. Next, scroll down to the location you wish to update and click "update"
3. Scroll down to your rooms; select the room you wish to assign services to by clicking the edit icon.
4. Here you can edit the location by selecting applicable services. Click "Update"
5. Remember to click "Update Location" at the bottom of the page to save.
**When services are assigned to rooms, Admin will receive an error message when conflicts are found while booking an appointment.
Note: service/room conflicts are not enforced at self-booking.
