How can I add my opus1.io to my home screen on iPhone and Android (and get SMS Push Notifications)?

This article explains how to add opus1.io to home screen on iPhone and Android (and when SMS enabled, get push notifications)

You can create an icon on your iPhone or Android's home screen to quickly access your opus1.io.

Note that adding opus1io app to the Home Screen is required to receive push notifications

For iPhone:

1. Navigate to your opus1.io on Safari.

2. Tap the Share (icon the square with an arrow pointing out of it) at the bottom of the screen.

3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. If you don't see that action, scroll down and tapEdit Actions, then tap Add next to the Add to Home Screen action. After that, you'll be able to select Add to Home Screen from the share menu. 

4. Type a name for your opus1.io link. This name will appear beneath the app icon on your home screen.

5. Tap Add in the top-right corner of the screen. 

For Android:

Navigate to your opus1.io on Google Chrome.

1. Tap the Menu icon (the three dots appearing in the top-right corner of the screen) and tap Add to Home Screen.
2. Enter a name for your shortcut and Chrome will add it to your home screen.
