This article discusses the client data import feature provided by opus1.io.It highlights the benefits of utilizing the services of the success team to efficiently import client data, which can significantly save time during the transition to opus1.io
Our success team can efficiently import your client data for you, saving you valuable time in your transition to opus1.io.
Note that the first client data import is offered free of charge but a payment for your first month of opus1.io subscription is required. Subsequent client data imports will not be free of charge fee, so please include all relevant client data in one import file, if possible
To begin importing your client data into opus1.io, send us a CSV file at support@opus1.io. An export from your current platform will do.
For best results, make sure to include columns with the following headers below. Having each line contain all the information below will yield better results, e.g. having the student (dependents) and parents (account managers) linked correctly.
Note:
-
- Not all the columns are required - we will import what you send us.
- If the data has duplicates, it will likely be imported and may need to be deleted manually.
- Email addresses must be unique as they are used as logins. Duplicated email addresses will not be imported.
- You can either have the addresses broken down (Street, zip, city, state, country) in separate columns, or full in one column (student_full_address / parent1_full_address), and our import will break it down for you.
Column headers
Columns with an asterisk (*) are required to be included in your client data CSV. When importing students and/or parents, first and last names are required or the entry will be skipped. If you are missing names for students or parents, please use "N/A" in place of a first or last name.

- Prospect (trial)
- Prospect (trial followup)
- Prospect (sleep)
- Prospect (lost)
- Member Lost
Note that Member and Member Lost are automatically assigned when a client has an active Subscription (Member) and when their last active subscription ends (Member Lost)
Account Managers / Dependents Relationships In order for us to connect account managers and dependents they need to be specified as the following example highlights - In this example, John Doe and Jane Doe are parents of Tom and Alice Doe, and their accounts won't be duplicated.
If your parents' or students' names are together in one column, here's an article with guidance on splitting names into two columns. https://www.timeatlas.com/split-names-excel/
