How do I categorize time-off requests?

This article explains how to create time-off request categories in Opus1.io.

Some States require employees to provide time-off reasons (ie. sick, vacation, bereavement, etc.) when submitting time-off requests. You can now create categories for time-off requests in Opus1.io. 

To set up: 

First, go to your Business Settings under your General tab. Scroll down to "Business Settings" and click the edit pencil icon to the right.

Scroll down to the Time-Off Policy. Under the policy, you'll be able to ADD TIME OFF CATEGORY.

Add the Categories:

Click "Update Business" 

 

Please Note: Once these categories are set, they will be a required field when employees fill out a Time-Off Request.
