A Quick Guide to Run Your 'Celebrate Your Teachers Review Campaign'

Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4–8) is one of the most natural moments of the year to do two things at once: make your teachers feel genuinely valued, and invite your families to say—out loud, in a place that matters—what those teachers mean to them.

Your families already feel the gratitude. They just need a simple, well-timed nudge to put it into words. That's exactly what this campaign gives you.

Our Customer Success team has put together everything you need to run this in about 15 minutes: a ready-to-use email, tips for personalizing the ask, and guidance on getting the most reviews possible before the summer enrollment rush begins.

The reviews you collect this week aren't just a morale boost for your teachers—they're the authentic, specific words that help the next family find you, trust you, and choose you.
If you need any support along the way, your Customer Success Manager is here to help.

Tips & Recommendations

Timing

  • Send the 1st review email Monday, May 4 to kick off the week with maximum energy
  • Send one follow-up reminder Thursday, May 7 for families who haven’t yet responded

Personalizing the Ask

  • When sending one email to all families you can write it in a prompts to name their specific teacher in the review - "Tell us about YOUR teacher - mention them by name in your review!"

Making the email itself feel warmer:

  • Include a short quote or fun fact from each teacher in a single "meet our teachers" style email
  • Have the owner sign the email personally rather than from "the school" - that intimacy drives opens
  • Add a P.S. line - they consistently outperform body copy for clicks - "P.S. Don't forget to mention your teacher's name in your review - it means the world to them!"

Incentivizing Teachers

  • Encourage your teachers to be excited and drive results with a small bonus ($5–$10 per review) or a public shout-out during staff meetings
  • Schools using Reputation Management in Opus1 Plus (or another system) can monitor incoming reviews in real time and celebrate reviews mentioning teachers by name
  • If you haven’t run a campaign yet - This is a great proof-of-concept: “Imagine running these automatically, all year long” > Let your CSM know if you need help getting started!
